Inferno’s NFL Week 10 Picks

Philadelphia Eagles 21 vs. 27 Cleveland Browns - Inferno’s Pick: Browns

The Eagles have the better quarterback in Carson Wentz, but the Browns have the advantage when it comes to the running game. Cleveland’s running game should open the field up for quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is due for a big performance. Browns take this one at home.

Atlanta Falcons 20 vs. 28 New Orleans Saints- Inferno’s Pick: Saints

No Drew Brees? Should be no problem for the Saints. Both Taysom Hill and James Winston are more agile and mobile than Brees which only benefits Sean Payton’s offense. Look for the Saints to dig deep into their playbook in this game as they try to spread the Atlanta defense out across the field. Saints take this one at home.

Cincinnati Bengals 34 vs. 21 Washington- Inferno’s Pick: Bengals

Joey B. That’s it, that’s going to be the story of this game. The rookie quarterback is bound to turn in a masterful performance against a mediocre Washington team. Cincinnati cruises on the road.

Detroit Lions 24 vs. 21 Carolina Panthers- Inferno’s Pick: Lions

Both teams are injury depleted. But it is the Lions who have less injuries to key players. Without star running back Christian McCaffrey, the Panthers’ offense is limited. On the other hand, Detroit has listed quarterback Matthew Stafford as questionable, but should be ready to play by game time. It should be a tightly contested matchup, but the Lions should come away with the victory.

Pittsburgh Steelers 27 vs. 20 Jacksonville Jaguars- Inferno’s Pick: Steelers

The Steelers are firing on all cylinders at the moment, but never underestimate the Jaguars when they play at home. The South Florida humidity can falter opposing quarterbacks’ grip on the football, which can lead to sloppy throws. Pittsburgh should come away with the victory, but it won’t be easy.

Tennessee Titans 24 vs. 28 Baltimore Ravens - Inferno’s Pick: Ravens

The Titans are crippled by injuries this weekend, which doesn’t put them in a favorable spot against the talented Ravens. Both teams possess excellent running games, but it will be the Ravens who will pull away late in the game to seal the victory at home.

New England Patriots 27 vs. 21 Houston Texans - Inferno’s Pick: Patriots

After last week’s victory, the Patriots are starting to pick up some momentum. Meanwhile, Houston still has some unresolved internal turmoil. Belichick’s squad will still need to claw and fight, but should still earn the victory, nonetheless. Patriots take this one on the road.

Miami Dolphins 24 vs. 27 Denver Broncos- Inferno’s Pick: Broncos

Still not sold on Tua Tagovailoa as his victories have been less than spectacular. Not to mention, the Denver weather and altitude doesn’t favor the Dolphins. Denver will need to rely on Melvin Gordon to open up the passing game for Drew Lock. Should be a close game, but the Broncos should earn a hard fought victory.

New York Jets 21 vs. 27 Los Angeles Chargers- Inferno’s Pick: Chargers

Chargers’ rookie quarterback, Justin Herbert, is bound to piece together his best NFL performance yet. However, since the Chargers like to play close games, don’t count out the Jets in this matchup. The Chargers should win, but again, they won’t cruise to a home victory.

Green Bay Packers 28 vs. 20 Indianapolis Colts- Inferno’s Pick: Packers

The Colts have arguably one of the best defenses in the NFL, but Rodgers should be too much for them to handle. If the Packers’ veteran quarterback can complete passes outside the pocket early in the game, the Colts have no shot at stopping the Packers. On the other hand, Indy’s Philip Rivers is playing great football and won’t go down without a fight. Look for the Packers to escape with a tough road victory this Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys 20 vs. 31 Minnesota Vikings- Inferno’s Pick: Vikings

The Vikings are trending in the right direction, especially after an impressive road win on Monday Night Football. On the other hand, the Cowboys have too many issues that need to be resolved before they can actually start winning again. Vikings cruise in this game.

Kansas City Chiefs 28 vs. 31 Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday Night Football) - Inferno’s Pick: Raiders

Yes, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are the easy slam-dunk pick in this game, but don’t underestimate the Raiders. They play with a chip on their shoulder and have already defeated the Chiefs this year. Las Vegas will need to open up the passing game for Derek Carr with their running game while containing the Chiefs’ explosive offense. It won’t be easy, but the Raiders will be victorious at home.

Los Angeles Rams 24 vs. 31 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Monday Night Football) - Inferno’s Pick: Bucs

Tom Brady proved last week that he’s still the GOAT by turning in a masterful performance, and our guess is that he will follow-up with a similar performance this Sunday. Also, the Bucs have too many weapons on offense for the Rams’ defense to contain. Not to mention, their defense is relentless against the running game. Meanwhile, the Rams tend to struggle when playing on the East Coast. Look for the Florida humidity to play a limiting factor in the Rams’ passing game as well. Bucs take this one at home.
