Inferno’s Week 6 NFL Predictions

Houston Texans 24 vs. Tennessee Titans 31

Bill O’Brien is gone; which has definitely eased the tension within the Texans’ locker room. However, Derrick Henry and the Titans are playing excellent football and recently handed Buffalo their first loss in spectacular fashion. Titans remain undefeated.

Cincinnati Bengals 24 vs. Indianapolis Colts 27

Joey B. finally earned his first NFL win last week as a starting quarterback. However, this week he has a huge task ahead of him in the form of the Colts’ defense. On the other hand, veteran Philip Rivers has shown signs of aging and needs to rely more on the running game. This game will come down to the wire, but I believe Indy can pull off the win at home with a last minute field goal.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31 vs. Green Bay Packers 38

Aaron Rodgers versus Tom Brady: the battle of two future Hall of Famers. Rodgers is playing elite level football, while Brady has showed signs of vulnerability and aging. Both teams have great offensive weapons, therefore it will be up to the defense to keep opposing offenses in check. Rodgers will step up big and lead his team to victory at home over Brady.

Denver Broncos 27 vs. New England Patriots 34

The Patriots’ weekly preparations were interrupted for the second week in a row, however that didn’t prevent them from picking up the win last week and it certainly won’t affect them this week either. Cam Newton is back under center and the Pats are set to make a statement against a young Bronco team who has yet to fill their starting quarterback void.

Atlanta Falcons 24 vs. 28 Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have yet to find their offensive rhythm, but something tells me that they might be able to find it this weekend against Atlanta’s defense. Meanwhile, the Falcons are essentially going through a rebuilding phase. Vikings take this one at home.

Washington 21 vs. 28 New York Giants

The home team has failed to win at MetLife Stadium this year, but this week might be the week that that streak is broken. Giants’ quarterback Daniel Jones is set to earn his first win against Washington. Giants take this one.

Baltimore Ravens 38 vs. 20 Philadelphia Eagles

The Ravens still own one of the most ferocious defenses across the NFL and of course let’s not forget about their explosive offense led by Lamar Jackson. The Eagles haven’t found their stride yet, and this week is definitely not the week that they will find it either. Ravens cruise past Philly.

Cleveland Browns 24 vs. 31 Pittsburgh Steelers

Tempers flared last time both teams played each other. However, Roethlisberger is playing like “Big Ben” and the Steelers offense has rallied well behind their veteran quarterback. On the other hand, Baker Mayfield is playing with a chip on his shoulder and looking to prove why he deserves to be the Browns’ franchise starting quarterback. Look for emotions to run high during this matchup. Steelers remain undefeated.

Chicago Bears 24 vs. 28 Carolina Panthers

The Bears benched starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky in favor of Nick Foles, however Foles wasn’t his usual self last week. Meanwhile, the Panthers are scrappy and looking to prove that they’re worthy of playoff contention. This game will be close, but Carolina’s Bridgewater will lead his team to victory with a last minute touchdown.

Detroit Lions 23 vs. 27 Jacksonville Jaguars

Both teams seem to stack up well in every component, but I believe the difference in this game will come down to quarterback play. My vote is for Gardner Minshew II. Jaguars win at home.

New York Jets 18 vs. 24 Miami Dolphins

Miami isn’t a dominant team but New York has too much internal chaos within their locker room. The Jets’ internal organizational issues will continue to haunt them and the Dolphins will pick up the win at home this week.

LA Rams 34 vs. 31 San Francisco 49ers (Sunday Night Football)

America is in for a treat on Sunday Night Football- two divisional rivals going head-to-head on national television. Props to the 49ers for still being able to battle despite being injury depleted. However, they will need to solve their starting quarterback situation if they wish to get past the Rams’ defense this weekend. It’ll be a hard fought game, but Sean McVay’s squad will return to Southern California with a victory.

Kansas City Chiefs 38 vs. 35 Buffalo Bills (Monday Night Football Game 1)

Two great teams led by two great quarterbacks- truly a sight to behold. However, the Chiefs still have the superior quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. Not to mention, the Chiefs have shown the ability to adapt their offense according to opposing defenses. Yes, Josh Allen and the Bills will look to avenge last week’s loss to the Titans, but Mahomes and company are still the team to beat in the AFC. Chiefs take this one in Buffalo.

Arizona Cardinals 28 vs. 31 Dallas Cowboys (Monday Night Football Game 2)

The Cowboys always start their home games playing sloppy and I have a feeling that history is going to repeat itself again on Monday. However, look for the Cowboys to come out fired up in this matchup after losing Dak Prescott for the season. Kyler Murray will be an absolute nuisance, but will fail to lead his team to the promised land late in the fourth quarter. Cowboys steal this one at home.
